Goals of the workshop:

• To understand the fundamentals of OST and OST meeting process
• To understand the fundamentals of organizing OST meetings
• To gain OST meeting experience through participation and be able to facilitate as facilitator
• To clarify any questions one may have regarding OST

The Daily Focus of the 2-day Workshop:
Day 1: Understand the fundamentals of OST and participate in an OST meeting facilitated by Professional OST Facilitator – Larry Peterson

Day 2: Reflection of OST meeting experience and practice run of OST meeting facilitated by participant.

Open Space Techonology 開放空間會議

What is it?
Open Space Technology is one way to enable all kinds of people, in any kind of organization, to create inspired meetings and events. Over the last 20 years, it has also become clear that opening space, as an intentional leadership practice, can create inspired organizations, where ordinary people work together to create extraordinary results with regularity.

In Open Space meetings, events and organizations, participants create and manage their own agenda of parallel working sessions around a central theme of strategic importance, such as: what are the issues and opportunities for expanding the scope of this organisation over the next twelve months?

With groups of 5 to 2000 — working in one-day workshops, three-day conferences, or the regular weekly staff meeting — the common result is a powerful, effective, connecting and strengthening of what's already happening in the organization: planning and action, learning and doing, passion and responsibility, participation and performance. The results are always remarkable.

Who are we?

We are a nonprofit group that empowers the youth by integrating resources and fostering ownership through a self initiating platform.

§ We serve the youth between age of 14-35 in the mandarin speaking community.
§ We want to promote interest diversity in what we do.
§ We leverage and transfer our skills and experiences to guide and assist the youth in achieving their goals and objectives.
§ We employ Open Space Technology: an innovative idea generating mechanism that approaches diverse and complex issues.We integrate and allocate resources such as brand, referral, finances, networking and etc.

§ To promote greater integration of resources and increase the cohesiveness of society.
§ To become the platform where youth can fulfill their dreams and beliefs.
§ To facilitate leadership training and delopment.
